Obverse:
HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z F. Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches, lis by neck.
Reverse:
POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE M, CIVITAS EBORACI. Long cross pattée dividing the legend, with three pellets in each angle. Extra annulets in two quarters.
Edge nick at 7 o’clock otherwise very fine, centrally struck on a round flan. Extremely rare with only 8 other examples known, 3 of which are in museums.
Found near Bishop’s Lydeard, Somerset Aug 2020.
