Obverse:
EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRA. Facing crowned bust in tressure of arches, no marks by neck, knot on breast.
Reverse:
POSV[I] DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM, CIVITAS LONDON. Long cross pattée dividing the legend, with three pellets in each angle, spur below TOR.
Light crease and high points a little bright otherwise very fine or better with a dark tone to the recesses. Rare transitional type, only 25 examples seen by Greenhalgh.
