CAROLVS D G MAG BRT FR ET HI REX. Frist horseman, horse caparisoned with plume on head and crupper, rose on housing, ground line below.
Reverse:
CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO. Squared topped shield over long cross fourchee.
About very fine, excellent detail with some wear to the high points, grey tone, neat double strike to rev legend. Overall a very pleasing example of this rare first issue. Same die as Brooker 277.
