Obverse:
CAROLVS D G MAG BRIT FRAN ET HIBER REX. Shrewsbury horseman with groundline below, scarf flying from king's waist, plume in field.
Reverse:
EXVRGAT DEVS DISSIPENTVR INIMICI. Declaration RELIG PROT LEG ANG LIBER PAR in two lines, three plumes with pellets and V above, date 1642 below.
A few metal flaws otherwise very fine or better, rare with a rich tone. Only 1 example in the Brooker collection No 869, same obverse die and also same obverse die as Shrewsbury 806-9, reverse not listed.
