ÆLFRED ON PILTV. Voided short cross with pellet centre.

Peckmarks on the reverse otherwise very fine, toned and very rare. Die sinkers error with the obverse cut with an extra 'T'.

There are only 4 examples of this short cross type listed for Wilton on EMC/SCBI and of which, just 2 are of this moneyer, both from the same dies as this coin; SCBI 15 Copenhagen Part III C - No. 3981-2.
