WILLEM ON CAN. Voided short cross with quatrefoil in each angle, large initial cross.
Flat in part otherwise fine, a rare subclass.

Ex ‘Naxos’ (Greece) Hoard, c. 1969.
The Naxos Hoard consisted of around 1420 coins, which were said to have been found during the summer of 1969 in a earthenware vase, in a cave on the rocky eastern promontory of the Greek island of Naxos. It was dispersed in separate lots on the London market throughout the 1970’s and 80's.
