EDWARD DEI GRA REX ANGL. Quartered shield of arms of England and France within tressure of eight arches. Annulet before EDWARD, cross in circle over shield.
Reverse:
EXALTABITVR IN GLORIA. Florated cross with lis terminals, lions between, annulet in centre, all within treasure of eight arches.
Good very fine, rare issue, full flan and well centered to obv and rev, small crack to legend before REX, small scratch to second quarter on rev. An extremely pleasing example of a rare issue, seldomly seen on the market. Metal detecting find - Barrow-in-furness 2014.
