Obverse:

H[EN]RICVS. Crowned bust, looking three quarters l, no sceptre in right hand.

 

Reverse:

[DE]REMAN RI ON LV. Quadrilateral with curved sides, lis at each angle over cross fleury.

 

Slabbed and graded NGC AU 55. An interesting coin with a rare die engraver's error, omitting the sceptre in the King's right hand.

The Pimprez hoard was discovered in the village of Picardy, Northern France in 2002. It consisted of 569 silver coins, 446 of which were pennies from the reigns of Henry I and Stephen. It was likely deposited around 1140.
