Obverse:
THE COMMONWEALTH OF ENGLAND. Shield of St. George in wreath of palm and laurel. No stops.
Reverse:
1652 GOD WITH US. Joined shields of St. George and Ireland with value mark XII above.
Near extremely fine, very sharp details, struck on a generous flan, thinner area at 4 and 8 o'clock resulting in softer strike which corresponds to reverse, pleasing dark tone, no stops on the obverse (rare error) Overall an exceptional example with very little evidence of circulation, very rare thus.
