Good very fine, small scratches on obv, an exceptional example, rare with this obv.

John Sills (Chris Rudd List 83) notes one obverse die, paired with a 4a reverse, which has the trace of design. This is noted to be a possible obliterated die from a different series. There is no mention of an example seen with a 4b reverse, such as this.
