POSVI DEVM ADIVTOREM MEV, CIVITAS LONDON. Long cross pattée dividing the legend, with three pellets in each angle. Single and double saltire stops, barred A in ADIVTOREM.

Very fine with a rich dark tone. Same die pair as Doubleday study photos plate VII - 3 (Lot 568 part).
