Obverse:
EDWARD DEI GRA REX ANGL FRAANC D HYB. King standing facing in a ship, sword in right hand, shield in left, broken Cs and Es, saltire stops.
Reverse:
IHC AVTEM TRANCIENS P MEDIVM ILLORVM IBAT. Floriated cross with lis terminals, lions between with crowns above, all within tressure of eight arches. Large annulet stops and large E in centre, Cs and Es unbroken.
Minor scuff on reverse otherwise good very fine, double ‘A’ error in ‘FRANC'. An extremely rare mule, which was not represented in the Doubleday collection. Same obverse die as Schneider 37 and 38, which was muled with series Gf reverses and in a somewhat rusty and worn condition compared to this coin.
